The Jay Johnson Memorial Jam

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 15 years since we lost Jay Johnson to a motorcycle accident. He was the life blood of the Red Barn community and was - for many reasons - beloved. When we celebrated his life at the Red Barn on May 3, 2003, it began as a somewhat solemn event, but quickly evolved into a full-fledged wake and party. The Red Barn jams continued for a few years without him, but they were never quite the same. RIP Jay Johnson!
